Anglemyer's Tae Kwon Do Academy

Kristin Alwine

Black Belt - 2nd Dan - Head Instructor

Kristin started Tae Kwon Do when she was 11 years old. Her favorite food is Thai and her favorite sport is Tae Kwon Do. When we asked Kristin what she learned about Tae Kwon Do, this was her response; "Discipline, respect, self-control... TaeKwonDo has taught me to be a champion of my own weaknesses and prepared me to have a positive impact on those I'm honored to reach." She would give the following advice if asked; "TaeKwonDo is a solo sport in that you only get out of it what you put into it; you are your own greatest competition. But it is also a family. We learn, grow, train and compete together. We strengthen each other, hold each other accountable to out tenants, celebrate and mourn together. We love to see you shine and want to see you change our world. When you come, expect to find more than a sports team. If you must go, expect to leave with more than TaeKwonDo."

Thoughts become words.

Words become actions.

Actions become habits

Habits become character.

Character is everything.
